Personal training week one complete

So today I had my second personal training with Polly. It was fantastic and to feel so good about myself afterwards was amazing.

On Monday we did resistance training and spent 30-40 minutes doing a range of exercises from squats to push ups and tricep dips. It was tiring and sweaty but made me realise exactly how much my body has been affected by my lack of exercise and healthy eating.

Today for my second training we went for a 3mile jog/walk session. It was mentally and physically challenging. My body was wanting to go and curl back in bed as I had awoken a hour before hand but my mind was set in a completely different world and was forcing myself to just keep putting one foot infront of the other. I didn't stop once during the whole thing and I was proud of that.



I can feel my body is getting better and the muscles are changing (the pain on Tuesday was awful).

I would definitely recommend to anyone who is struggling with weight loss or just getting back into a heavier lifestyle to look up a Personal Trainer. I have done one week so far and I can see my end result in the future coming slowly and steadily closer. Fad diets and weight loss memberships might work short term but you will soon put the fat back on when you go to your normal routine again. Changing your whole life will ensure that you won't go back to the old tricks and routines again.
